Driver posts bail in Mpls. hit and run case

Man in critical condition after being run over in Mpls.
A woman accused of driving drunk and running over a pedestrian in Minneapolis is out of jail on bail Monday.
Kirsten Bungum Driscoll, 49, posted $150,000 shortly before 7:30 p.m. Monday.
She had been jailed on pending criminal vehicular injury charges after police arrested her for allegedly hitting Christopher Steven Iverson, 48, and a Metro Transit bus shelter.
The incident happened around 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of East Lake Street and 39th Avenue South in Minneapolis.
Iverson was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.
Officers say Driscoll was slurring her words at the time of her arrest. They are investigating whether alcohol played a role in the incident. Her vehicle was later towed to the city impound lot, according to police.
