5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has been covering the death of Chris Jenkins since he disappeared on Halloween in 2003.
After he was found, anchor John Mason connected with Chris' parents Steve and Jan Jenkins--who insisted that their son was murdered. We began looking closer at the case.
Since that first connection, many things changed in the investigation and Mason handed the story over to investigative reporter Kristi Piehl about a year ago.
