New Prague used three goals in a 2:38 span in the second period to surge ahead of Chisago Lakes on the way to a 5-2 win in a Class A State Hockey Tournament quarterfinal Wednesday.

Kriha scored again in the third to make it 5-1 before Chisago Lakes' Blake Lizotte stopped the flurry of five unanswered New Prague goals.

Conner Wagner made seven saves earning the victory.
