Beth has been a news reporter and/or anchor covering major stories for local affiliates & networks: KMSP FOX-9 Minneapolis, WCAU-TV Philadelphia, KYW-TV Philadelphia, KPRC-TV Houston, KETK-TV Tyler, TX, KOAM-TV Joplin, MO, KOCO-TV Oklahoma City. She joined KSTP 5 Eyewitness News in 2012.
Beth has won many Emmys throughout her twenty year broadcasting career. Her favorite stories are those that expose abuse of taxpayer dollars and those that uncover crime and public corruption. She also covered the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995, the 9/11 attack in 2001, and the 35W Bridge Collapse in 2007.
Beth has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in political science from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has also completed one year of graduate school at the University of St. Thomas in Houston.
Beth moved to Minneapolis in 2004 and quickly fell in love with Minnesota. She owns a home along the Mississippi River where you can find her jogging along the river with her two beloved dachshunds: Saylor and Simpson. Beth enjoys a good adventure and has traveled to 20+ countries checking out hiking, parasailing, cross-country skiing, canyoneering, rappelling, boating, and paddle boarding. She is a thyroid cancer survivor and has written a book, "Standby".
