Holy Angels only went 3-5 in the regular season this year, but have now rattled off four straight postseason wins on the way to a berth in the Class AAAA State Football Championship game.

The Stars advance to the Prep Bowl thanks to a stunning 33-21 win over DeLaSalle in the 4A Semifinals.

Holy Angels set the stage for the upset with a run of three unanswered touchdowns from the start of the game, opened with Danny Hoffman's 82-yard fumble recovery touchdown.

DeLaSalle had cut the Holy Angels lead to 19-14 at the end of the third quarter, Adam Hoffman and Connor McCarthy's second touchdowns each iced the win in the fourth for Holy Angels.

The Stars defense was relentless in claiming five DeLaSalle turnovers - four fumbles and an interception.  Holy Angels also held the Islanders to just 1-for-9 on third down conversions.

Stars running back Connor Moriarity rushed 23 times for 122 yards.

Holy Angels will face their former Missota Conference rival Hutchinson in the Class 4A State Championship game.
