Dawson-Boyd scored the first two touchdowns of their Class A State Football Semifinal against Sleepy Eye - St Mary's and never looked back, winning 27-18.

Michael Lee's first quarter touchdown reception along with his quarterback Joey Lee's rushing score early in the second gave the Blackjacks a 13-nothing lead that they'd never surrender.

SESM did score twice to get within 13-12, but two more scores came on a catch by Noah Stelter and another rush from Joey Lee again put Dawson-Boyd in the clear.

Joey Lee figured in all four Dawson-Boyd touchdowns, throwing two and rushing for two.

Dawson-Boyd emerges from the Class A final four which saw the same four teams return in 2013 from the 2012 final four.

Dawson-Boyd will face defending Class A champion Mahnomen in the Prep Bowl.
