Burnsville Cops Edge Out Firefighters in Wing Eating Contest

Firefighters and police officers put their appetites on the line Wednesday night in Burnsville.

It was all to support two of their own.

The two teams downed spicy wings at Hurricane Grill and Wings.

They competed to help Assistant Fire Chief Dan Hove, who's battling pancreatic cancer, and Detective Steve Adrian, whose wife was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

The restaurant is also donating a portion of Wednesday's proceeds to the two families.

We're told the police officers edged out the firefighters to win the contest.
