Police: 2 Arrested after 1,400 Grams of Pot Found in Vehicle

Two people were arrested for marijuana possession after their vehicle was stopped for an equipment violation.

Two Columbia Heights officers stopped the vehicle on the 500 block of Parkview Place around 11:38 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the driver’s license was revoked and the vehicle didn’t have insurance.

After searching the vehicle, the officers say they found more than 1,400 grams of marijuana. The driver also had $222, which was taken.

The driver and passenger were both arrested. The incident is still under investigation.
