Fire Damages Minnetonka Townhome, Leaves One Homeless

A fire at a Minnetonka townhome has left one person without a place to stay.
Fire Chief Joe Wallin says the fire started around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the bedroom of the home in the 5300 block of County Road 101. The one person who lived in the home and neighbors evacuated and were not hurt.
The fire was contained to the bedroom and took 30 minutes to extinguish. The cause of the fire is unknown, but is not said to be suspicious.
The resident is being assisted by Red Cross.
