Blaine Police Quickly Arrest Suspect in Bank Robbery

A 55-year-old man suspected of robbing a Blaine bank Saturday morning has been arrested.

Officers responded around 10:34 a.m. to a report of a robbery at the TCF Bank at 331 County Road 10 NE.

Police say the suspect implied he had a weapon, but one was not seen.

Witnesses provided a description of the suspect and officers arrested Michael Watts of Blaine around 10:36 a.m. a short distance from the bank.

The case remains under investigation by the FBI and Blaine police.
