Threat Forces Evacuation of Fergus Falls Walmart

The Walmart in Fergus Falls was evacuated for two hours Saturday night after police say someone phoned in a violent threat against both employees and customers.

An employee took the call around 7:30 p.m. Police are not releasing details of the call at this point since the investigation is ongoing.

Officer secured the outside of the building and did a thorough sweep of the store, but found nothing out of the ordinary.

The store reopened about two hours later, but the investigation continues.
