U of M Roundtable Discusses Religion and the Election

A roundtable discussion hosted by the University of Minnesota will focus on how religion affects the 2012 presidential election cycle.

The panel includes sociology professor Penny Edgell, political science professor Dara Strolovitch, religious studies professor Jeanne Kilde, and history and American studies professor Kevin Murphy.

They will talk about how religion, religious issues, and religious influences affect the campaign.

The event takes place from 4-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at the Nolte Center for Continuing Education. It’s free and open to the public.
