Two Minneapolis Bridges Re-Open Monday
Monday marks the end of a lot of frustration for drivers in both north and south Minneapolis.
Two bridges that have been closed will re-open.
The Plymouth Avenue bridge will open after being closed since 2010 because of deteriorated concrete and cables. Before the bridge closed, it carried more than 14,000 vehicles every day.
In south Minneapolis, the Lyndale Avenue bridge re-opens, marking the end of a construction project that's spanned four years. Improvements include reducing the number of lanes, adding center medians and widening sidewalks.
