Richmond Motorcyclist Killed in Waite Park Crash

A 52-year-old Richmond man was killed when he was thrown from his motorcycle into the path of a semi after being hit by a car in Waite Park.
Waite Park police say the crash happened around 1:25 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of 28th Avenue and Second Street South.
The driver of the car - identified by police as 31-year-old Erick Bardeaux of Sartell - drove through a stop sign and hit the motorcycle traveling southbound on 28th Avenue. The motorcyclist, Paul Hiltner, was thrown into the path of a semi driving northbound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation. The Minnesota State Patrol was called to reconstruct the crash.
