Thousands of movie star photos the public has never seen are going on the auction block.
Movie Star News in Manhattan collected nearly 3 million film stills, posters, and negatives over 73 years. Their website allows the public to buy pictures of celebrities, but the company recently sold its entire inventory to a Las Vegas collectibles company.
The inventory includes photos of Bettie Page, Frank Sinatra, Marlon Brando, and pictures from “The Godfather” and “Gone With the Wind.”
The pictures, including some of the never-before-seen ones, will be sold next year.
