Rogers Business Expands to Brooklyn Park
A medical device manufacturer based in Rogers is expanding to Brooklyn Park. It's a move the company said could bring 250 jobs to that city.
Metro Mold and Design (MMD) got its start in Rogers in 1973. According to the company website, it "does rapid mold manufacturing, custom plastic injection molding, thermoset plastic molding, extrusion blow molding, precision CNC machining, and product assembly and finishing.
The company's products include medical devices, fuel cells, printer components, and plastic containers and enclosures.
On Wednesday (June 27), the company will officially open its new Medical Headquarters at 6835 Winnetka CIrcle in Brooklyn Park. According to a company spokesperson, the new building measures 100,000 square feet.
