Crossroads Alternative Joins U of M 'Ramp-Up to Readiness' Program
Crossroads Alternative High School is joining the University of Minnesota’s “Ramp-Up to Readiness” program.
The program aims to close the achievement gap and increase the number of students who graduate from high school with the skills necessary to be successful after graduation. It includes engaging curriculum, student support, and a personalized technology platform for helping students get into college.
Crossroads is one of 36 schools chosen for the program.
According to information from the University of Minnesota, more than 70 percent of Minnesotan jobs will require some sort of higher education by 2018.
