Washington County Library Offers Free Business Start-up Classes
The Washington County Library system is offering free business start-up classes this winter. The classes take place at the R.H. Stafford branch and run for five sessions.
Here are topics and dates:
• Business Startup 101, 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25: This course is an introduction to the fundamentals of owning and operating your own business.
• How to Write a Business Plan, 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10: Learn to design the plan that will secure funding and provide a roadmap to your new business’ first year.
• How to Finance Your Business, 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17: Locate potential investors for your new business, featuring multiple local funding resources.
• Creative Marketing Techniques, 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24: Learn how to create buzz locally and online for your business.
• LinkedIn Brand Building, Saturday, 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31: Learn to use LinkedIn to brand and expand your business presence.
