CORRECTION: The data used for this story was later found to include 758 duplicate records out of 5,604. When the duplicates were stripped out, 4,846 University of Minnesota employees collected $27,294,610.86 in payouts between 2009-2011, not $30,543,447.86 as first reported. We regret the error.
