EmailRiver Falls Man Killed in Trench Collapse
A western Wisconsin man was killed Thursday afternoon in a trench collapse in Pierce County.
The sheriff's office says 19-year-old James Tilso of River Falls died in the accident, which was reported shortly after 12 p.m. at a home in Gilman Township. Tilso was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not said how the collapse happened or what Tilso was doing at the time. An investigation is ongoing.
