5 EYEWITNESS NEWS PRESENTS: A Journey of Hope

From Minnesota to Africa, it's a journey of hope.

Twin Cities firefighters, medics, teachers, and nurses are helping to save lives halfway around the world - in Kenya.

A delegation of Minnesotans, aided by the Minneapolis-based International Leadership Institute, went to the Minneapolis sister city of Eldoret, Kenya, in July 2011 to bring vital training, critically-needed supplies, and inspiration to a country that needs all the help it can get.

5 EYEWITNESS NEWS reporter Mark Albert and photojournalist Jared Bergerson went along to cover Minnesotans making a difference, half a world away.
