Summer Harvest for Kids

Just $20 will feed two kids lunch for two weeks this summer. Last year, our viewers contributed 57,700 lunches for Minnesota kids. With your help, we can expand this effort to get Minnesota kids the food they need.

We here at KSTP 5 Eyewitness News were surprised to find out that one third of Minnesota kids get free and reduced-price meals during the school year. Which got us thinking … what about when school ends
for the summer?
So 5 Eyewitness News is helping to fill that gap with "Summer Harvest for Kids". We've teamed up with local leaders in hunger relief and we are working together to make a difference.
