Chris Long - Sports Anchor

Chris joined the 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Sports department in March of 2010 as the weekend sports anchor. He is no stranger to the frozen tundra having spent eight years as the sports anchor for KDLH-TV in Duluth. While in Duluth, he also hosted a weekly local sports-talk radio show on WDSM-AM. Chris was most recently the sports director and anchor at WBBH in Ft. Myers, Florida. He has also worked at KGTV in San Diego, California, KOMU in Columbia, Missouri, and his first television job was a freelance gig for ESPN.
Chris received his Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri, where he played for the school's lacrosse and hockey teams. He was also a member of the Alpha Kappa Lambda fraternity.
Chris is a native of the Washington DC area. Chris' passion is sports, but he manages to squeeze in some time to play golf and hockey. He and his fiancé enjoy traveling and seeing live music.
