St. Paul Premieres "Where the Wild Things Are" Opera
The movie "Where the Wild Things Are" is many peoples first introduction to Maurice Sendek's famous book. But Minnesota audiences had a chance to enjoy the same story nearly 25 years ago.
St Paul was the location for the world premier of an opera based on the book. In 1985, Jason Davis went on the road to England to watch the costumes made. The story is as colorful now as it was then.
