Tears, Hugs Accompany Extreme Home Reveal

 Follow the Progress

After five days of round-the-clock work, the crew of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" moved that bus and revealed a St. Paul family's new home.

The Morris family--mom Sandy and children Catricia and Mychal--returned from their cruise and caught a limo ride to their address.

The big reveal came Friday afternoon with hundreds of volunteers, neighbors and even Mayor Chris Coleman, looking on.

The old home, which was more than 100 years old and falling down, was demolished Sunday. Then, over the next 96 hours, more than 1,000 voluteers constructed a new home from the ground up.

Morris was chosen because of her commitment to the low-cost, highly regarded daycare she runs out of her home.
