Flooring, Countertops Installed in Makeover Home

Volunteers finally got a dry, sunny day to work on the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" house in St. Paul.

They only have two days left to finish up the work before homeowner Sandy Morris and her two children return from vacation.

Wednesday, crews installed flooring and counter tops, put in landscaping and poured concrete for the sidewalk.

Crews also finished installing doors and appliances. And, the city inspected the heating, electrical, and plumbing work.

Thursday and Friday the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive in conjunction with the ABC show.

Donors can visit the Neighborhood House at Wellstone Center, located on Robie Street in St. Paul, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day.

All donors will get a free t-shirt.
