Excellent Educators are dedicated to the success of our children and their education. These outstanding members of our community deserve recognition and praise for their hard work and commitment to educating our young people. If you want to say "Thank You" to a local educator who has gone above and beyond the call of duty, please nominate them for an Excellent Educator award.

An 'Educator' is deemed any person that works in the school environment - this includes not only teachers, but teacher aides, custodians, bus drivers, secretaries, cafeteria workers and those involved within the education community.

On the last Wednesday of each month, one of these Excellent Educators will be featured in a recognition story on 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS at 4:30PM and the following day during the 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Midday newscast at 11:00AM.
