WOOD: A Warm Welcome To 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Mornings

I was a little sad on June 12th, 2008 right around 4 pm. I was in the last moments of my last day hosting Twin Cities Live. In the year I worked on the show I had created a second family. So when I decided to move over to 5 Eyewitness News Mornings, I was a little sad about leaving that family behind (even though they would only be a flight of stairs away). Then with about 2 minutes to go in the show, I had a pleasant surprise. A peak into just how fun my new family would be. Art, Vineeta, Rusty and Patrick took the time to make a pretty heart warming video welcoming me to the show. After watching that and before I had ever even walked into the newsroom, I knew that I had another, really fun, family I would be lucky enough to work with. I�ve been doing 5 Eyewitness News Mornings for just a week now, but already I have fallen in love with the crew. Rusty and Patrick make me belly laugh every single day, Art is always there ready to help when I have a question and Vineeta�well Vineeta is already my BFF. I cannot tell you how many things we have in common. Every day when we talk we�re amazed at similar our lives have been. So I now I have three families in my life. A girl couldn�t ask for more!
