PIEHL: Smiley Face - holiday update
This coming week is one most of us look forward to, but it is also a time of year many families have been dreading.
I've written about Josh Szostak before so you may remember that he's the young man last seen in an Albany, New York bar on December 23, 2007. The anniversary of his disappearance will be difficult for everyone who loved and miss Josh. There is a mass in his honor on December 23.

It's a tough time for Tommy Booth's family. This is the first Christmas his mom will spend without him. She is mourning her son and she's frustrated. She doesn't know what happened from the time Tommy left a Ridley Township, PA bar on January 13, 2008 to the time he drowned behind the bar.
My hope is that Josh and Tommy's families get answers and justice in 2009.
Since this time of year is frequently marked with a young man drowning, remind your kids and friends to party in groups, stay together and drink responsibly.
