Typical day packed full for Minnesota airmen
Members of the 133rd Airlift Wing pack a lot into a day. Besides providing tactical support for ground missions they are also helping develop Afghan security forces.
U.S. leaders told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that Afghans are now leading about half the fight in their country, but they would like to see them takeover even more. To do that they are helping develop army and police forces there.
Anchor Leah McLean and Photo Chief Joe Caffrey are traveling with the 133rd Airlift Wing.
