About 30 airmen to return from Afghanistan

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - About 30 air crew members and maintenance workers from the Minnesota Air National Guard's 133rd Airlift Wing are returning home on Wednesday.

The airmen and women have been in Afghanistan serving tours of up to six months.

The air crew members and aircraft maintenance specialists arriving Wednesday will come on a C-130H "Hercules" cargo aircraft that will fly into the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Most of the Minnesota Air Guard members have deployed to Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.

Since 2001, the 133rd Airlift Wing has deployed more than 4,000 personnel to more than a dozen countries.
