CAFFREY: A day filled with issues

Had some issues with lost video shots in my Final Cut pro bin but called Arie Kuh, KSTP's crack non-linear editor for instructions to import these shots again. Artie has been instrumental helping me train on FCP. I couldn't have filed any stories without his great knowledge and support, not to mention his patience with me as I continue to call on him for tech support. Thanks Artie.
The file transfer was a bit slower tonight. We made our 10 p.m. deadline with five minutes to spare. A guy with little and graying hair lost a few more tonight.
The C-130 Herc expects to get a replacement valve tomorrow and we hope to press on with our trip across the big pond. Our new Airmen friends with the 133rd are the best. These folks are the salt of the earth with their service and commitment and we are happy to profile them on our newscasts.
