Crews face mechanical problem en route to Afghanistan
5 EYEWITNESS NEWS was there as Minnesota's Air National Guard 133rd Airlift Wing Unit arrived at its first stop on the way to Afghanistan.
5 EYEWITNESS NEWS anchor Leah McLean and photographer Joe Caffrey departed with the airmen on a C-130 airplane Monday morning. By nightfall, they arrived in Canada, but hit a snag along the way.
The C-130 underwent a mechanical issue and a valve needs to be replaced.
