Suit filed against troubled Golden Valley charter school
The school at the center of several 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS investigations is now the focus of a lawsuit.
Jill Love, a former teacher at Loveworks Academy in Golden Valley, claims she was fired after filing two formal complaints against the school's director and another teacher.
Love also accuses the charter school of ruining her reputation by implying she was dangerous and telling parents to keep their kids away.
Love is asking for damages and demanding a jury trial.
