INTERNET INSITE: Keep a schedule without writing a word

Do you have an interesting Web site you'd like to see featured on Internet InSITE? Email Web Manager Justin Piehowski, jpiehowski@kstp.com. Watch INTERNET InSITE each Monday at 6:30 on 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS MORNING.

Have you ever been working so hard on something or had so many things going at once that you look at the clock and realize: I was supposed to be at the dentist 20 minutes ago!

Not anymore.

A new web site called reQall adds a new dimension to scheduling--it allows you to add items to to an online calendar from anywhere using your cell phone.

For example, you call reQall and say 'I am getting my haircut on Tuesday, May 6 at 5:00 p.m.'

Within minutes (and remember, you haven't typed or handwritten a thing at this point) the item is logged on your online calendar and you've received an audio file in your email of you talking to yourself about the event.

Sounds too good to be true doesn't it? It's not.

I've been using reQall for the last week and it's all it claims to be. The site has found a niche among overworked, over scheduled professionals who aren't important enough yet to have an assistant to do their scheduling for them.

It offers many customizable options for keeping your tabs on your life, including text message and email reminders.

I could write all day about this site, but I'll let you play with it yourself, I've gotta get to the dentist.
