Student's discovery could revolutionize fuel production

An Augsburg student has made a discovery that could revolutionize diesel fuel production.

Brian Krohn wanted to find a new way to produce bio-diesel. After his preliminary research, Krohn discovered a clean and cheap way to create bio-diesel.

Some experts say the new process, called the "Mcgyan Process", could help free the U.S. of its dependence on petroleum-based fuel.

Krohn will head to Washington D.C. this month to testify before Congress.

We spoke with Krohn on 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Sunday morning.
