Starting Thursday night at 7, drivers may experience some delays along Interstate 35E in St. Paul.
The Minnesota Department of Transporation is closing the left lane of northbound I-35E between Interstate 94 and Maryland Avenue. The lane will reopen Friday by 5 a.m. At that time, the ramp from westbound I-94 to northbound I-35E will reopen.
Crews will be striping and making lane shifts onto new pavement near I-94.
This is part of the I-35E Cayuga Improvement Project. The project will reconstruct the interstate between University Avenue and Maryland Avenue and replace the Cayuga Bridge, the Pennsylvania Avenue Bridge and railroad bridges along the interstate.
