A new clinic to help those with eating disorders will soon open in St. Paul.

Park Nicollet is expanding its Melrose Center, which specializes in anorexia, bulimia and binge-eating disorders. The new St. Paul location will be the third center in the Twin Cities metro, joining locations in St. Louis Park and Maple Grove.

Officials say the new location will offer better access and convenience to patients on the east side of the Twin Cities metro. It will focus on outpatient, intensive outpatient care and day treatment.

The St. Paul clinic is expected to open sometime in September at the Court International Building on University Avenue.
