Target’s new CEO has only been on the job one day, but he's getting right to work.

Brian Cornell spent part of the day speaking to Target employees. He told them within a year, he'd like to see a headline reading, “Target is Building Momentum.”

The Minneapolis-based retail giant has been struggling since the massive data breach.

One key point to getting back on track would be to grow sales at its stores in Canada. Target recently opened more than 100 stores there. Customers complained prices were too high and supplies were low.

Target plans to allow price matching, and they want to make sure stores get shipments more frequently.
