Crews raised the American flag for fallen Mendota Heights Police Officer Scott Patrick Tuesday morning in West St. Paul.

The flag was hoisted up at 11:30 a.m. by Metro and Inver Grove Heights firefighters positioned across the street from St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, where Patrick's visitation was held.

The video was shot by Amanda Whelan who said, "It was a very chilling moment seeing it go up, and a very nice gesture from the surrounding cities."
