Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, marks the seventh year since the catastrophic Interstate 35W bridge collapse in Minneapolis.
The structure fell into the Mississippi River during rush hour on this day in 2007, killing 13 people and injuring 145 more.
Now, a local film called “The Public Domain” focusing on several people directly impacted by the bridge collapse will be out soon.
Director Patrick Coyle talked to 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS about the film and its fictional characters. Watch the interview in the video player.
