A group of Minneapolis students had the opportunity to build their very own mini golf course.
It was inspired by the Seven Wonders of the World, but it includes some Twin Cities landmarks. The course features the Spoonbridge and Cherry sculpture and the Stone Arch Bridge. It also showcases the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Great Wall of China.
Students tell 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that this was a fun opportunity to learn about different landmarks.
“We had fun doing it. We paint, we do interesting shapes and sizes, so it was really cool,” said Willie Gates, one of the students who helped build the course.
It took six weeks to build the mini golf course. Students built it during a first-of-its-kind summer camp.
