The Minnesota Wild have agreed to terms with goaltender John Curry on a one-year, two-way contract, according to a release from the club.

Under the deal announced Thursday, Curry will be paid his NHL salary only if he is on the NHL roster. If he is sent to the AHL, he will get a minor-league salary.

Curry signed with the Wild in February of 2014 but played a majority of the 2013-2014 season with the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League. He played 19 games in Iowa, recording a 2.62 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage with one shutout.

At the age of 30, Curry has played in six career NHL games, including two with the Wild last season and four with the Penguins from 2008 to 2010.
