Pat Neshek's Journey to the All-Star Game

LeBron James isn't the only pro athlete going home. Cardinals pitcher Pat Neshek (Brooklyn Park) will be at Target Field in Tuesday in uniform for the National League.

Neshek went to Park Center high school. He's allowed only one earned run in his last 32.2 innings. In other words, he's very All-Star worthy.

Neshek, 33, will be making his 1st All-Star appearance. He signed a minor-league deal in February, barely finding employment. Now he's on top of his professional world.

Cardinals reliever Pat Neshek is an All-Star.
