Minneapolis Police are asking for the public’s help to find out who set fire to a “little library” on July 6.

“Little libraries” look similar to mailboxes. Homeowners place their favorite books inside and invite community members to borrow the books to read.

Police believe someone purposely set the little library on Minnehaha Avenue South near 43rd Street East. Police posted pictures of the charred little library on its Facebook page.

Anyone with information should call the Arson Hot-Line 1-800-723-2020.

Minneapolis Police say someone set fire to a little library and are looking for the person responsible.
