A New Prague family is waking up in a completely remodeled home.
The group "Rebuilding Together" took on the task of fixing up the Vanderwert's 100-year-old home while dad, Sgt. Jonathon Vanderwert, is serving in Iraq.
On Friday, the rest of the family got to see the finished product.
Kathryn Greiner, executive director of "Rebuilding Together-Twin Cities" joined us on 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Weekend Morning to talk about the project and what it took to get this family into their remodeled home.
