The Big Back Yard at the Science Museum of Minnesota opened Saturday with fun and games along with learning outdoors.
Kim Ramsden from the Science Museum joined Tom Durian in the studio to talk about some of the learning opportunities and attractions people can check out.
Kids can learn about how landscapes erode, how rivers transport sediment, and what happens to sediment when it reaches the ocean while playing a 9-hole mini golf course, or walk through a maze of prairie plants native to Minnesota.
The Big Back Yard is open through Labor Day.
