How often is your town hit with a tornado?
KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas looked at all the tornadoes within a 60-mile radius of 19 Minnesota towns within the last 50 years.
The findings show the farther northwest in the state, the less tornadoes occurred.

A series of tornadoes on May 6, 1965, were the worst to hit the state in history. A total of 13 people were killed and another 683 were injured during the storms that tore through Chanhassen, Deephaven, Minneapolis and Fridley.
