Monday's Storms Hit Blue Earth County Family Farm

South of the Twin Cities, a family farm was ripped apart in Monday's storms.

In the small town of Minnesota Lake in Blue Earth County, the storm caused major damage at the Fields' family farm.

Several silos and a barn were destroyed and a roof was ripped off a large storage building.

Three family members hid in the basement during the storm, thankfully no one was hurt

Damage on the property ranges into millions of dollars, but the farmer has insurance.
