The installation of new turf at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium is complete, according to the Minnesota Vikings.
The field is now equipped with heating coils for late-season games. Media lines, hash marks and end zone scripts were also added to the turf in order for the field can be used for NFL games.
The Vikings will play at TCF Bank Stadium for the next two NFL season during the construction of their new stadium.
Because both the Gophers and Vikings will use the field, Minnesota is painted in block letter script in each endzone. The endzones will be painted purple and white for Vikings games with a Norseman painted at midfield. The endzones will painted maroon and gold for Gopher games.
Fans are able to view a sneak peek of the TCF Bank Stadium layout and purchase season tickets at the Vikings website.
